Endoscopic Procedures
The following procedures are all carried out at the Wellington Liver unit:
- Endoscopy (also called OGD)
- Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio Pancreatography (ERCP)
- Colonoscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy (flexible)
- Proctoscopy
Referral needs to be to the correct physician for each procedure so we would ask that you contact us to discuss. For all these procedures there needs to be adequate preparation and this is especially relevant to the bowel imaging. Therefore if you need to have a colonoscopy you need to have 48 hours advance notice to prepare your bowel.
